Some people think that children should follow their parents’ profession. Do you agree or disagree? Give your own opinion. Include examples and arguments.

General Assessment Criteria for Writing Assignment 

C1 Advanced: writing is very good. The question is answered thoroughly. Arguments and examples are clear and comprehensive; Rich vocabulary and various grammatical structures are used. 

B2 Upper-intermediate: writing is good. Meets the requirements of an assignment, although in this case given information is incomplete; Arguments are good, however, not exhaustive. Vocabulary is good. Medium complexity grammatical structures are used. 

B1 Intermediate: writing is average. Most of the information is not complete; Arguments are general; Vocabulary and grammar are repetitive. Spelling errors. 

A2 Pre-intermediate: writing is below average. The issue has been discussed; The provisions are repeated. Information is scarce and, in some cases, irrelevant. Vocabulary is simple, grammatical and spelling errors are frequent. The number of words is less than necessary. 

A1 Elementary: writing is weak. A few sentences are written. Vocabulary is simple, repetitive / inconsistent. Understanding the text is mostly difficult.
